Fund Accountant @ Asset Management

A leading global asset management firm with over $50B in assets under management is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its growing finance in Boston, MA. This role will support the accounting and working closely with the fund admin overseeing a portfolio mutual funds and ETFs performing day-to-day accounting operations, calculating management fees and preparing financial reports.

• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations
• Reconcile cash, positions, and P&L between internal systems and custodians/administrators
• Oversee fund expenses, accruals, and allocations across multiple vehicles
• Prepare board packages and investor reporting
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and tax advisors
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
• Assist with the annual audit and prepare any supporting documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or asset management
• Experience working with fund administrators and auditors
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems a plus
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
