** THE ROLE**### Working as part of the global research team, develop investment recommendations within assigned US high yield sector, for the fixed income portfolios managed by MFS.###
** WHAT YOU WILL DO*** ### Work as part of the global fixed income investment department, developing specific investment recommendations for use by portfolio manager.* ### Conduct deep fundamental independent research using sources such as company literature and financial statement's, various business publications and other external sources.* ### Maintain on-going coverage of assigned industry sectors and highlight investment opportunities using written notes and participation in meeting and discussions with other analysts and portfolio manager.
* ### Act as the in-house expert on designated area of concentration.* ### Performs additional duties as directed.###
** WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR*** ### Masters of Business Administration and/or CFA charter holder preferred* ### Minimum 5 years industry experience – sell side or buyside* ### Ability to work independently, using research, analysis, and communication skills. Base Sa### ### Base Salary: $175,000### This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.
