Finance Associate - Alternative Investment Firm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate looking for their next (or first!) opportunity to build hands-on experience across alternative investments. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting or finance professional coming from public accounting or fund accounting who is looking to transition into an in-house role with broad exposure and strong long-term growth.

• Broad responsibilities with meaningful ownership; support monthly and quarterly close processes, assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, capital activity, and valuation-related analysis, review reporting and executed materials from external managers and administrators, analyze trends and performance drivers, and propose enhancements to reporting workflows, capital close, and general ledger processes
• Global investment platform with exposure to diverse alternative investment strategies and geographies

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in public accounting, fund accounting, or financial services
• Experience supporting monthly and quarterly close processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare work papers relied upon by internal and external parties
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Proficiency in Excel
• Team-oriented, intellectually curious, and interested in alternative investments
