Director of Finance - Real Estate

Director of Finance up to $230k/yr - Real Estate

We are seeking a Director of Finance. This individual will play a key role in overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and tax reporting, with exposure to private equity and real estate investments. Working closely with the CFO of a well-known international commercial real estate brand, this is an exciting leadership opportunity with potential for growth.

This role is available due to an upcoming retirement.

• Overseeaccounting, reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities and real estate/private equity investments
• Preparecorporate budgets and manage quarterly lender reporting
• Managecorporate cash flow, invoicing, receivables, and owner distributions
• Overseepayroll, 401k, and worker compensation audits
• Assist with tax planning and estimates for ownership
• Ensure compliance with treasury activities and internal controls
• Superviseaudits for corporate entities and investment funds
• Support capital planning and structuring of acquisitions and joint ventures
• Prepare reports and analyze industry trends

• Bachelor’sdegree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPAdesignation with a mix of public and private experience
• 10+years of senior level accounting experience within the real estate industry
• Astrong background in REITs, open-ended funds, and private fund structures
• Knowledge of tax reporting and compliance for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps,and K-1s
