We’re delighted to be supporting one of the fastest growing AI companies in the world. With two key products they are an AI coding platform for enterprise level customers (think Loveable but on a much larger scale). The platform allows customers to quickly implement AI and replace outdated systems and also can be used by Product Engineering teams to drive dramatic efficiency gains in their speed and ability to develop and ship new products and software solutions.
Launching in 2025 with a SaaS model they have already crossed $15m ARR and expect to be crossing $40m ARR at the end of Q1. With a significant Series A closing shortly which will value them at over $1B they are forecasting $100m ARR by the end of 2026.
Clients include large banks, insurers, healthcare companies with significant international expansion potential.
They have an incredible team which is expanding quickly - the culture is very fast paced with lot's of ownership for building. They share huge ambitions to build the company towards an IPO and have won some huge clients in their first 7 months including leading global banks, insurers and healthcare companies.
About the RoleReporting to the VP Finance the Controller will be the first Accounting hire building the function from scratch. Initially bringing the Accounting function in house you will lead an ERP implementation, implement robust financial controls, establish a revenue accounting and billing process while also getting involved in a variety of ad‑hoc projects as the business grows.
The client are open to Senior Accounting Managers making their first move into a Controller role or seasoned operators!
Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage month‑end close, reconciliations, and reporting
- Select and implement a new ERP system (most likely Netsuite)
- Establish robust financial controls for a SaaS business under ASC 606
- Overtime create IPO ready controls and processes
- Prepare the business for their first audit
- Implement and own a revenue accounting and order‑to‑cash process
- Support the VP Finance with FP&A and budgeting
- Begin to develop a team
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to provide financial insights and support strategic decision‑making
- Build scalable, repeatable, and efficient finance processes and systems
- Proven experience in accounting or finance leadership roles, ideally in high‑growth VC backed SaaS companies
- Strong understanding of subscription revenue models, SaaS metrics, and financial operations
- Hands‑on experience with ERP and reporting systems
- Ability to implement scalable processes and drive continuous improvement
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and high‑growth environment
- Experience with AI‑driven technology platforms
- Prior involvement in venture‑backed or PE‑backed growth‑stage companies
Boston (4 days a week in office although there is some flex here)
Salary$170k-$200k + Significant Equity
