Tax Specialist

Tax Specialist $90k/yr + bonus

As a Tax Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Tax Senior and team members to support tax functions across the company’s funds, ensuring accurate and timely tax deliverables while upholding the firm’s high standards of tax compliance and reporting.

• Salary up to $90,000/year
• Bonus of 10-15%

• Calculate partnership taxable income, book and tax allocations, tax estimates, Schedule K-1s, and tax returns
• Assist in month-end close processes, performing reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Document tax and accounting policies and procedures
• Evaluate and enhance reporting processes and systems
  
  Conduct ad hoc analysis, research tax issues, and participate in operational improvements as needed

• BA in Accounting or Finance required
• 1-3 years in public accounting focused on financial institutions’ tax work
• Familiarity with taxation of financial products, hedge/mutual funds, or investment companies

• CPA or MST or progress towards a CPA or MST
• Experience with a Big 4 or national CPA firm
• Familiarity with the SS&C Globe-Op platform
