The Position

Global Liquid Markets (GLM) manages over $70 billion in liquid securities, including interest rate products, credit instruments, structured products, and equities. GLM aims to safeguard policyholder commitments while driving growth through dynamic management of liability-matching portfolios and return strategies. We seek a Senior Analyst with 1-5 years of investing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in data and technology to improve investment research and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate fundamental and quantitative analysis across fixed income sectors, including corporates, structured products, government bonds, and derivatives.
  • Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and investment tools to assess risk and support portfolio decisions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to identify and analyze investment opportunities.
  • Use data analysis to evaluate credit spreads, yield curves, and macroeconomic indicators relevant to fixed income.
  • Assist internal teams in enhancing investment processes.
  • Prepare presentations and insights for senior leadership and investment committees to support reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of experience in fixed-income research, trading, or analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, STEM, or related fields; CFA or advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of fixed-income securities, derivatives, and cross-asset markets.
  • Proficiency in quantitative and market analytics.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar programming languages is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with strong quantitative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
