Role Summary

This Controller role is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who is eager to drive financial excellence in a growing organization. We are seeking an experienced Controller with strong technical accounting expertise, a proven track record in financial consolidations, and experience in the manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting activities within the organization.

This individual will lead the accounting team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, drive financial integrity, and support strategic decision‑making. As a member of the Finance Leadership team this role will be required to provide valuable input into the US Finance functional strategy as well as drive enterprise projects locally and with global colleagues. The ideal candidate has strong experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, is solutions orientated, works with an enterprise mindset, and is well‑versed in GAAP, IFRS, compliance, and financial controls.

Position Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation is required.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with previous successful experience in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, compliance, and financial controls.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Net Suite).
  • ERP implementation experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management in the pharma industry.
  • Knowledge of government pricing, rebates, and compliance reporting in pharmaceuticals.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Must be able to work over‑time
