• Model development and optimization
• Model validations and efficiency assessments
• Actuarial transformation
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Financial and regulatory reporting

You’ll support key actuarial modeling practice priorities, focusing on driving innovation, expanding business opportunities, and enhancing market outreach. Collaborate with other practice leaders for go‑to‑market and cross‑service offerings.

• Consistently deliver quality client services and high‑quality work products within expected time frames and on budget.
• Assist clients in tackling unique and complex business issues using innovative solutions.
• Cultivate and manage business development opportunities and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Foster an innovative, inclusive team‑oriented work environment and mentor junior consultants.
• Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge, assimilating new knowledge quickly.
• Possess strong business acumen and stay current on new developments in advisory services.
• Understand and communicate complex actuarial issues, applying professional standards and firm policies.
• Develop a strong personal brand and enhance EY’s brand through writing, speaking, and industry participation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related major.
• Approximately 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years of people and/or project management.
• Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries.
• Strong knowledge of at least one prominent actuarial modeling software platform (e.g., Moodys GGY AXIS, FIS Prophet, Milliman ALFA/Integrate).
• Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage time across multiple projects, and work collaboratively and independently under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs.

• Experience with key platform library coding modules for actuarial modeling platforms.
• Solution design expertise, translating business requirements into modeling solutions.
• Proficiency in model staging and development skill sets.
• Knowledge of model development lifecycle, change management, and testing procedures.
• Knowledge of US Life, Health, and Annuity products and associated regulations.
• Experience with asset modeling and ALM concepts.
• Experience with Python, R, Julia, or other open‑source coding.
• Experience leading and overseeing actuarial modeling projects.
