The PositionGlobal Liquid Markets (GLM) manages over $70 billion in liquid securities across interest rate products, credit instruments, structured products, and equities. GLM safeguards Liberty Mutual’s policyholder commitments while driving enterprise growth by dynamically managing both our liability‑matching portfolios and return‑generating strategies. As a core part of Liberty Mutual Investments, GLM combines a deep asset‑owner mindset with market agility to deliver strategic value.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst with 1‑5 years of investing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to leverage data and technology to enhance investment research and portfolio management.
- Integrate fundamental and quantitative analysis across fixed income sectors, including corporates, structured products, government bonds and derivatives
- Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards and investment tools to quantify risk and guide portfolio construction
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to identify and analyze opportunities
- Utilize data analysis techniques to analyze credit spreads, yield curves and macroeconomic indicators relevant to fixed income investing
- Work with internal teams to enhance investment processes
- Support reporting efforts by preparing presentations and insights for senior leadership and investment committees
- 1–5 years’ experience in fixed‑income research, trading, or portfolio analytics
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, STEM or related; CFA/advanced degree a plus
- Strong understanding of fixed‑income securities, derivatives, and cross‑asset market structure
- Proficiency in quantitative and market analytics
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL or similar programming languages a plus
- Detail‑oriented self‑starter with strong quantitative, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
- Exposure to a dynamic investment environment with opportunities to contribute to a collaborative and research‑driven investment process

Pay Philosophy:
The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
