The Job

As an Usher, you help ensure a safe and orderly concert experience. Ushers provide excellent service to guests, visiting artists, and other members of the public. Ushers perform any job function deemed appropriate and within the scope of the usher role: primarily learning the venue layout and assisting guests in locating seats, while delivering excellent customer service and answering questions. We are hiring for April 2026 – October 2026 concert and event season.

Ushers are typically in the evening, with some events during the day. Evening availability is required. The Usher department at Leader Bank Pavilion is affiliated with the usher union, IATSE Local B-4. If hired, ushers should be willing to join the union if not already a member. This position pays $18/hour.

What This Role Will Do
  • Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including business partners and artists, in a professional way.
  • Adapt to the needs of diverse artists, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes.
  • Facilitate a top-notch guest experience
  • Greet all guests in a welcoming manner.
  • Answer guest questions accurately and thoroughly
  • Assist guests with locating seats and examine tickets for entry to various seating areas around the venue during the event.
  • Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to internal and external guests.
  • Direct guests around the venue
  • Inspect tickets or passes to verify authenticity and direct guests to their section/row/seat
  • Assist guests with accessibility needs, such as helping with seat accommodation or wheelchair escorts.
  • Assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas. Assist patrons by giving directions to places inside or outside the venue.
  • Guide guests to the exits or provide other instructions or assistance in the event of an emergency.
  • Ensure that all guests make their way safely out of the venue at the end of each event.
  • Learn and perform a multitude of different positions within the Usher department ranging from Front Row to Splitting to VIP Boxes. You will be trained on these various roles.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all venue policies and guest services protocols. Familiarize yourself with the Day of Show sheet and all key details of the event to include set times, names of artists, and other key details.
  • Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue
  • Address behavior that is noncompliant with guest conduct expectations
  • Resolve guest complaints or challenges in an efficient manner, with appropriate service recovery.
  • Escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the assigned work area is presentable and ready for the public, including setting up seats in VIP boxes and coordinating with facilities on broken seats.
