Lead Mechanical Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take full ownership of the mechanical development lifecycle for head- or body-worn devices.
• Collaborate with industrial designers and hardware engineers to create ergonomic, manufacturable designs.
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and test new ideas using 3D printing, CNC, and advanced fabrication methods.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for high-volume injection-molded components.
• Lead technical engagement with global manufacturing and fabrication partners.
• Define and execute mechanical stress and reliability testing to ensure robust, market-ready products.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years designing consumer electronics or high-tech hardware, ideally wearables.
• Experienced in taking products from concept through NPI and mass production.
• Hands-on, first-principles problem solver who thrives in ambiguous, high-impact environments.
• Expert in CAD (Solid Works or similar) and injection molding.
• Bonus: experience with acoustics/audio integration, wearables, or premium consumer electronics brands.
