** What you will be doing:
** The VCGT Process Development team is dedicated to advancing innovative solutions in the field of cell and gene therapies. Our team focuses on developing robust, scalable, and efficient manufacturing processes to support the production of cutting-edge therapies that address serious diseases. By leveraging state-of-the-art technologies, data-driven methodologies, and scientific expertise, we optimize processes for both clinical and commercial manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing multivariate analysis methods to support Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing processes.
This includes identifying multifactorial impacts on product quality and uncovering correlations using tools such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA) or other statistical techniques. You will leverage these analyses to detect potential process drifts, determine root causes of complex investigations, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Additionally, you will design and implement computational tools and methods to efficiently sort, organize, and visualize data trends, presenting complex information in a clear and simplified manner to support decision-making and enhance process performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and apply multivariate analysis techniques (e.g., Principal Component Analysis) for manufacturing processes. Deliverables include analysis reports and visualizations that identify critical process parameters and their impact on product quality.
* Analyze manufacturing data to determine key variables that influence product quality and performance. This involves working closely with internal stakeholders to gather data, interpret results, and present findings to support process optimization initiatives.
* Use statistical tools and data visualization techniques to monitor manufacturing processes and identify potential process drifts or deviations. Provide regular updates and reports to process development and quality teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
* Use data insights to identify opportunities for enhancing manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and overall process performance. Work with cross-functional teams to implement and validate process improvements, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
** What you will need to succeed:
*** Enrolled in an undergraduate program as a Junior or Senior in Engineering, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, or another related field
* Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., JMP or similar tools).
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data organization and analysis.
