An established MEP design firm in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Plumbing and/or Fire Protection Engineer to join their growing team in a leadership capacity.
The firm has 55+ engineers across Boston and the South Shore, supported by a 65-person Facilities Management team, and specializes in Life Sciences, Bio Pharma, and Healthcare projects across New England, with project values up to $1B.
This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced team while stepping into a role where you can become a go-to technical leader as the Plumbing & Fire Protection group continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities- Design plumbing and/or fire protection systems for complex commercial projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on Life Sciences and healthcare facilities
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
- Participate in project coordination, design reviews, and client collaboration
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes and industry standards
- Highly experienced and collaborative engineering team
- Strong pipeline of large-scale Life Sciences and healthcare projects
- Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role
- Experience in Plumbing and/or Fire Protection design within an MEP consulting environment
- Knowledge of applicable codes and system design standards
- Experience with Life Sciences or healthcare projects is a plus
- PE (Fire Protection) or CPD preferred but not required
