A leading Electrical Contractor operating across the Boston area is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their preconstruction team. The company delivers complex electrical scopes on large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects.
This role will focus on developing accurate electrical cost estimates, managing bid submissions, and collaborating with internal teams and subcontractors to secure and deliver competitive projects.
Key Requirements- 2+ years’ experience in electrical estimating
- Proficiency with Accu Bid or Con Est
- Experience pricing projects from $500K – $30M
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and takeoffs
- Ability to manage the bid process and work collaboratively with project teams
- Review plans and specifications to determine scope and pricing strategy
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Support value engineering and cost optimization during preconstruction
