Job DescriptionCDM Smith office is looking for an Electrical Engineering Co‑Op to join our team. You will work with a dynamic group of industry‑leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, offering a full complement of electrical engineering and support services.
Responsibilities- Develop drawings for electrical systems (power, controls, communications, fire alarm, and security) using CAD.
- Perform electrical calculations using systems‑analysis software (lighting, load, voltage‑drop, etc.).
- Assist in the development of electrical distribution design plans and single‑line diagrams.
- Review shop drawings and assist with general construction services.
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline with an interest in power systems and/or electrical distribution.
