Job Description Summary
As the Platform Leader for Power Systems, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development and execution of our power systems platform roadmap. Job Description What You'll Do:- Product Liaison
:
Act as the primary liaison between product management and engineering, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product requirements. - Operational and Technical Guidance
:
Provide operational and tactical guidance to the engineering team, supporting them in product design to meet PRD specifications. - Problem-Solving Leadership
:
Lead and drive Problem Solving Reports (PSRs) for engineering challenges encountered during design activities, ensuring effective resolution. - Design Best Practices
:
Guide the team in adopting best design practices, promoting efficiency and quality. - Intellectual Property Management:
Identify potential intellectual property (IP) and patents, safeguarding the company's innovation. - Strategic Engagement

Ensure principal engineers and the Chief Title Holder Engineers are fully engaged with the design team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. - Spearhead Innovation

Translate product requirements into cutting‑edge technical solutions, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in power conversion technology. - Lead with Vision

Guide technical planning and implementation, ensuring seamless integration of subsystems, rigorous testing, and effective risk/cost management. - Build High-Performing Teams

Lead the creation and maintenance of state‑of‑the‑art product documentation that showcases our technical leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant technical/product roles, with at least 3 years focused on inverter-based systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with power semiconductor devices, converter topologies, power electronics principles, and control systems for grid‑connected inverters.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with EMC/EMI principles and mitigation techniques for power electronics systems.
Qualifications:
- Advanced
Education:
Master’s degree or PhD with a focus on Power Electronics or Control Systems. - Advanced Technical Tools: Proficiency with simulation and modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, or PSpice for transient and steady‑state analysis.
- Advanced Grid Knowledge: Deep expertise in Grid‑Forming (GFM) inverter technologies and advanced grid‑support functions (e.g., black start, synthetic inertia).
- Regulatory Leadership: Proven track record of leading products through full certification cycles (UL 1741 SB, IEEE ) and participating in industry standard‑setting bodies or working groups.
- Operational Excellence: Experience applying Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to hardware development cycles to improve quality and reduce "time to market."
- Strategic Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmaps and translate complex customer/grid requirements into actionable engineering specifications.
- Global Leadership: Experience leading cross‑functional teams across different time zones, specifically managing the hand‑off between R&D and manufacturing.
