Senior Controls Engineer

We're seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of control systems for high‑speed automated manufacturing equipment. This role supports global manufacturing engineering initiatives and plays a key part in delivering advanced, reliable, and scalable automation solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead development, installation, and startup of controls for automated assembly, packaging, and process equipment
• Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, VFDs, and motion control
• Develop wiring diagrams, control logic, and system architecture for new equipment and retrofits
• Create and improve imaging/vision system applications
• Support continuous improvement across automation platforms
• Drive root‑cause analysis and hands‑on technical problem solving
• Contribute to system design from concept through deployment
• Collaborate in a fast‑paced environment with cross‑functional engineering teams

Bonus Expertise

• Experience with AMR/AGV systems, robotics integration, and servo motion control
• Rockwell Automation controls (RSLogix/Studio
  5000, Factory Talk View ME/SE)
• B&R controls hardware/software
• Vision systems and imaging software
• SQL Server or Visual Basic experience

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in automated assembly or manufacturing environments, including clean‑sheet design
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to independently manage complex projects
• Excellent communication, documentation, and project management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, fast‑growing engineering environment
