For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22.50 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

What will you do?
  • Collaborating with your team on mixed signal circuit designs for highly available distributed compute systems. Our designs integrate high speed digital circuits with accurate analog measurement circuits.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and presenting your ideas
  • Supporting the Hardware Center of Excellence with assessing and implementing AI tools for improved Electrical Engineering workflows. This could include evaluation Cadence Allegro X Ai for PCB routing analysis, or AI tools in support of schematic reviews.
  • Attending intern‑exclusive workshops, networking events, and leadership panels
  • Receiving mentorship from experienced professionals and your assigned manager

Who will you report to?

You’ll report to a Senior Hardware Design Manager and collaborate closely with the Process Automation Hardware Center of Excellence Electrical Team. You’ll also connect with interns across NAM through our intern community and events.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with schematic capture in ECAD tool desired. Experience in Allegro System Capture, or DE‑HDL preferred.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time, ongoing basis. The company does not provide immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be available to work a full time co‑op for the duration of the fall semester
  • Must be able to work in our Foxboro, MA hub for the duration of the co‑op with no company provided relocation or living stipend
