Our Northeast Engineering Design Organization is growing and looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will work on a variety of electrical power generation, distribution and utilization system projects, creating and presenting power studies, detailed design of electrical power systems, preparing procurement specifications, and drafting electrical construction documents.

Our hybrid model combines in‑office collaboration with flexibility. Join us in the office three days a week and work remotely the remaining days.

• Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
• Contribute to the analysis of information and the specification of methods and process steps required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes.
• Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
• Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and recommend remedial works.
• Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities using established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
• Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
• Participate in assessment and development planning activities to develop own capabilities, gaining or maintaining external professional accreditation where relevant.
• Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers, acting as a primary point of contact while working within an established contract management plan.
• Contribute to the design of engineering solutions, design the feasibility testing approach, and supervise its implementation.
• Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships using relevant sales or client systems.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing information for various phases of multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience in at least one of the following project roles: BIM coordination, document management or engineering design.
• Experience in 3D modeling, model setup, management and troubleshooting, multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in BIM collaboration tools such as ACC, Project Wise, BIM 360; and design authoring/review/automation tools such as Auto Desk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Bentley InRoads/Open Roads.
• Excellent team leadership to lead a BIM team for design and production.
• Understanding of 4D/5D BIM and ability to support DB project requirements.
• Ability to interact with external entities to interpret BIM/CAD requirements and scope.

$72,000 - $120,000 based on experience and location.
