UG2’s paid Internship program will afford students the opportunity to attain real world experience in the corporate office of one of the fastest growing facilities services organizations in the Northeast. UG2 provides facility services to a diverse and ever-expanding portfolio of facilities including but not limited to commercial, corporate high-rise buildings, corporate office parks, higher education facilities and campuses, retail mall locations.
Intern will work closely with our Senior Director of Technical Services and other managerial members of our facility services team on a daily basis. Intern will garner experience in the corporate office setting as well as out in the field at client sites.
Intern will be responsible for various technical and project-oriented work that will support the day-to-day operations of the Boston corporate office’s mechanical services team. Additionally, Intern will likely gain experience in transitioning new accounts from a facilities/engineering/maintenance perspective.
Project work will be related to Facility Maintenance.
This individual will gain exposure to preventative and corrective maintenance programs, work order systems, process improvement, client relations and facilities account management.
UG2 is seeking a highly professional, enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to take high level direction and execute on tasks. Candidates must be able to conduct themselves professionally in client facing capacities and have very well-developed customer services skills. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
