Overview
The Field Service Engineer will support and guide customers in applying, installing, monitoring, testing, and repairing condition monitoring systems. They will use monitoring technologies and test and measurement products to deliver high-quality results. This role is part of our international Field Service team, delivering services to critical infrastructure customers including on-site advice, software and hardware commissioning, and test data analysis.
Responsibilities- Collect test data at customers’ sites
- Supervise equipment installations
- Supervise commissioning of continuous monitoring instrument systems
- Lead customer training and seminars
- Provide technical support to customers and other departments
- Write data analysis and service reports
- Travel significantly (approximately 70%)
- College or university graduate in Electrical Engineering
- Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of computer networking
- Practical work experience in power industries, preferably with exposure to high voltage equipment and rotating machines; utilities industry experience is a plus
- Experience with meters and digital oscilloscopes
- Strong ability to deliver training to customers in both classroom and hands-on settings
- Holder of an international driver’s license and willingness to travel (position is remote and requires up to 70% travel)
- Experience with high voltage (>3kV) test equipment and knowledge of Modbus and related protocols is preferred
- Good manual dexterity; no acrophobia or claustrophobia
- Power station and industrial plant environments with exposure to electrical, chemical, mechanical, and radiation hazards

Pay RangeThe salary range for this position (in local currency) is 56,900.
