What you will be doing- Lead the parts fabrication process for autonomous mobile robots: 3D printing, waterjet, laser cutting, other
- Setup and test software and electronic components
- Assist with various equipment and robot assembly
- Test autonomous robots
- Provide feedback to engineers to improve quality of the assembled devices
- Assist with robotics equipment deployment
- Supervise robots and equipment during deployment activities
- Mechanical ability
- Ability to lift 45 lbs
- Driver’s license
- Experience with complex electro-mechanical systems
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background
- Familiarity with computers, Linux-based systems, ROS
- Familiarity with lidars, depth sensors, IMUs, other types of on-board sensors for mobile robots
- 3D CAD design
