Job Summary
Position:
Power Systems Technician – Calibration and Testing of substation, network, distribution equipment and communication systems on the Eversource system. Responsible for minor troubleshooting and repairs.

Rates of Pay$43.93 – 47.87 – 51.83 – 55.76 – 60.58 – 62.08
Schedule & HoursHOURS: Various shifts, M-F
Responsibilities- Routine calibration and testing of substation equipment, network equipment, distribution equipment, and communication systems.
- Minor troubleshooting and repairs.
- Direct and instruct other Power Systems Technicians as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments, consulting firms, municipalities, manufacturers, customers, and contractors.
- Ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available and used properly.
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Demonstrate personality traits such as accuracy, initiative, judgment, originality, and attention to detail.
- Leadership and ability to plan, coordinate, and direct activities with individuals and groups in engineering and technical activities.
- Pass minimum physical requirements (vision, hearing, sense of smell).
- Valid driver’s license to operate motor vehicles.
