About the job Project Manager - Transmission Lines

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of high-impact projects in transmission lines, encompassing HV, underground, and overhead systems, with potential involvement in substation, distribution, private networks, and BESS projects.
  • Actively promote a safety-first culture across all project phases.
  • Respond to RFPs and prepare detailed proposals for both services and EPC projects.
  • Manage the schedule, budget, and scope of services and EPC projects to ensure successful delivery.
  • Guide project teams through conceptual design and procurement phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Act as the primary interface between clients, external stakeholders, and internal teams to facilitate project success.
  • Adapt seamlessly between corporate and field environments, demonstrating flexibility and leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience, including transmission line projects, or 7+ years in construction management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multiple phases of project execution.
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • Professional licenses such as PE, P.Eng, or an equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management with a focus on schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Management Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage diverse project teams, with team composition varying by project.
  • Ensure a collaborative and results-driven work environment to achieve project goals.
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
  • 25% travel to project sites, involving exposure to both corporate and construction environments.
  • Work conditions may include extreme weather, high noise levels, and safety hazards typical of construction sites.
