Executive Search Consultant - Electrical Engineering & Automation

Responsibilities:

• Install and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on high‑speed assembly, packaging, and process equipment.
• Develop and improve imaging programs for assembly and processing equipment.
• Design and review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment, retrofits, and upgrades.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Apply strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Conduct research and analyze data for specifications, feasibility studies, and productivity improvements.
• Plan tasks and contribute significantly to team objectives.
• Develop medium to large control systems programs from scratch.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of hands‑on assembly and manufacturing experience, including clean‑sheet design and continuous improvement for discrete component assembly equipment.

Preferred Skills and

Competencies:

• Extensive experience in engineering, design, and development of manufacturing equipment for high‑volume, high‑speed, high‑precision assembly operations.
• Strong programming knowledge of PLCs and HMI systems (Rockwell Automation preferred).
• Familiarity with servo drives, VFDs, and motion control concepts.
• Experience with imaging systems and software is a plus.
• Knowledge of robotics and automation for material handling and component feeding.
• Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain focus on priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid communication and report‑writing skills.
• SQL Server and Visual Basic programming experience is a plus.
• Commitment to safety standards and continuous process improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Domestic and international travel required (approximately 10%).
