Executive Search Consultant - Electrical Engineering & Automation
Responsibilities:
- Install and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs, and PLCs on high‑speed assembly, packaging, and process equipment.
- Develop and improve imaging programs for assembly and processing equipment.
- Design and review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment, retrofits, and upgrades.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Apply strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Conduct research and analyze data for specifications, feasibility studies, and productivity improvements.
- Plan tasks and contribute significantly to team objectives.
- Develop medium to large control systems programs from scratch.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of hands‑on assembly and manufacturing experience, including clean‑sheet design and continuous improvement for discrete component assembly equipment.
Preferred Skills and
Competencies:
- Extensive experience in engineering, design, and development of manufacturing equipment for high‑volume, high‑speed, high‑precision assembly operations.
- Strong programming knowledge of PLCs and HMI systems (Rockwell Automation preferred).
- Familiarity with servo drives, VFDs, and motion control concepts.
- Experience with imaging systems and software is a plus.
- Knowledge of robotics and automation for material handling and component feeding.
- Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus on priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid communication and report‑writing skills.
- SQL Server and Visual Basic programming experience is a plus.
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous process improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Domestic and international travel required (approximately 10%).
