About the RoleAs a Senior Bridge Engineer in our Boston office, you’ll work alongside some of the industry’s most respected experts, tackle complex technical challenges, and contribute to projects that define infrastructure excellence across the Northeast.
Responsibilities- Lead the structural design of complex and conventional transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and walls.
- Oversee and review engineering reports, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Work directly with state agencies, municipalities, and design/build contractors to develop tailored solutions.
- Play a key role in business development efforts, leading or assisting proposals, engaging with clients, and presenting innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of structural design experience in bridges and transportation infrastructure.
- PE License required, preferably from Massachusetts.
- Experience developing calculations using Excel and Mathcad, and with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
- Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP
2000, CSI Bridge, VBridge, LEAP Bridge, LPile, and more. - Experience with MassDOT projects is highly preferred.

TYLin offers a base compensation range of $117,300 – $192,000 annually for this position, based on local market and individual qualifications.
