As a Process Project Engineer in our Boston office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Here's why we need you:

In response to growing opportunities in our biopharmaceutical, food, and chemical markets, we are seeking a driven Process Project Engineer specializing in plant systems (process vessels, fermenters, separation technologies, tank farms, process piping, utility systems, pumps, heat transfer systems, scrubbers, waste treatment, CIP/SIP, and relief systems). Knowledge of the pharmaceutical validation process is desired. The Process Engineer will use their skills to develop P&’s, equipment and piping specifications, complete hydraulic sizing, and heat transfer calculations.

Other responsibilities include attending design meetings, performing field surveys, facilitating Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), fielding vendor quotations and reviewing vendor submittals. Project roles will vary from pure consulting to performing detailed design, commissioning, and startup services based on project requirements.

Expertise of our most successful Process Project Engineer:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, or similar from an ABET accredited program.
• 8+ years of experience in a consulting environment designing Chemical Process systems or leading design projects in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with communicating with clients, partners, and individuals at all levels within an organization.
• Knowledge and experience with piping systems and a variety of unit operations as applied to pharmaceutical, food, and chemical processing.
• Understanding of applicable design codes, standards and specification requirements, and ability to interpret them.

• Detailed, hands-on knowledge of PLC or DCS control systems.
