Structural Engineer at Structure Care®

We are hiring for a Structural Engineer to join the Structure Care team! The Structural Engineer will survey and evaluate existing structures, prepare inspection reports, communicate assessment results and follow‑up plans with the Territory Manager, provide technical advice to project personnel, resolve issues, and support technical sales to enhance customer relationships.

• Survey and evaluate existing structures for maintenance and repair needs; prepare and issue inspection reports.
• Communicate assessments and follow‑up plans with the Territory Manager.
• Engineer all structural repairs within the assigned territory.
• Review calculations, structural drawings, construction documents and related questions; refer to or seek advice from the Senior Director as needed.
• Research building codes and specifications as required.
• Provide technical sales support to Client Services Managers for prospective and existing clients.
• Give technical advice and guidance to project personnel and subcontractors.
• Attend technical seminars and training programs to maintain subject‑matter expertise.
• Assist with training new Structural Engineers as needed.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; P.E. preferred.
• 5–10 years’ experience in concrete construction, repair, restoration, or forensic investigation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Google applications, and MS Office products.
• Strategic problem‑solving aptitude.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility in a fast‑paced, evolving work environment.

• Primary focus on the New England territory.
• Reports to the Territory Manager.
• Independent schedule management with weekly travel; typically 3 days a week in the field and 1–2 days in the office.
• Limited overnight travel for trade shows, conferences, and field visits.
• Must wear PPE or appropriate protective gear while visiting plants or construction sites.
