Position
Tenure‑track Assistant Professor in International and/or Human Development at the Pardee School of Global Studies, Boston University.

July 1, 2026.
Employment Type
Full‑time, regular. Salary range: $96,000 – $118,000, based on qualifications, experience and departmental budget.
Responsibilities- Teach at least one required course on development, as well as courses in methods and your area(s) of functional expertise.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate Master’s students.
- Commit to multidisciplinary, empirically‑grounded, policy‑relevant research and teaching, and participate in the intellectual life of the University.
- Excellent record of teaching and scholarly research.
- Preference for scholars whose work incorporates health, education, freedom and inequality outcomes beyond traditional economic development themes.
- Ability to teach quantitative methods is a plus.
- Policy experience is especially encouraged.
