Schechter Boston is currently hiring a Hebrew teacher for grades 3-5. The specific grade level will be determined based on need later this spring.

Job Description
  • Design, plan and implement lessons that motivate students and create active learning experiences.
  • Prepare and implement differentiated instruction, activities and assessments that meet the needs of every student.
  • Build relationships with all students, so they are actively engaged in the classroom activities.
  • Create and maintain a safe, well-structured physical environment that is conducive to student learning.
Requirements
  • Native Hebrew Speaker
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of two years experience teaching Hebrew as a foreign language in an elementary school setting.
  • Strong pedagogical skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • We are especially interested in candidates who bring experience teaching Hebrew as a second language in elementary grades and are eager to contribute to curriculum design, peer coaching, or departmental growth.
