Job Summary
Wentworth Institute of Technology has an IMMEDIATE NEED and seeks a part-time head women’s lacrosse coach.
Responsibilities- Developing and executing strategies that identify, recruit and matriculate qualified student-athletes.
- Managing the academic, athletic, and personal development of student athletes.
- Building a positive, inclusive, and equitable environment that enriches the student athlete experience.
- Organizing and facilitating practice and game preparation to enhance the team’s performance.
- Hiring, supervising and developing assistant coaching staff.
- Coordinating team travel, managing game scheduling, and working in concert with Alumni Affairs on alumni relations.
- Be fiscally responsible and able to manage and maintain an operational budget that includes team fundraising to help supplement operations; recommend and assist in purchasing equipment; and assist in annual operating budget request for the women’s lacrosse program.
- Know and comply with all University, NCAA, conference and department policy and protocols.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with athletic department coaches and staff, as well as internal and external constituents.
This is a part-time position. The position requires flexible hours, nights, and weekends. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
