Adjunct Faculty – Behavioral Sciences Department, Boston, MA. (Effective Fall 2024 semester; open until filled).
Responsibilities:
- Teach Psychology courses in the Behavioral Sciences Department under the Behavioral, Social Sciences and Global Learning Division. Courses may include Introduction to Psychology, Psychology of Personal Adjustment, Child Psychology, Personality, and Adolescent/Adult Development.
- Courses may be offered at any of the BHCC campuses, satellite campuses, partner sites, or instructional sites, including but not limited to Brighton Public High School, Madison Park High School, Malden High School, PAO Center, and Freedom House.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Psychology or related field.
- Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies.
- Experience with high impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
- Community college teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in Spanish or another language preferred.
Salary: $1,397 Per Credit Hour

Fall 2024 semester; open until filled
