Preschool Teacher! (Boston, MA

Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center seeks a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team! We encourage you to apply if you love working in a positive, supportive environment with children and are excited about early childhood education.

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for preschool children
• Develop and implement age‑appropriate curriculum and activities to support learning and development
• Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping parents informed through our communication app
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members

• Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes two early shifts (7 AM – 3 PM), two late shifts (10 AM – 6 PM), and one rotating shift per week on Fridays
• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Up‑to‑date immunizations
• Previous teaching experience in a daycare or early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices

• Positive, patient, and encouraging personality
• A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices

• $115 per month subsidized MBTA pass and free off‑site parking
