Overview
Lower School Mathematics Teacher -- Leave Coverage February '26 (Boston, MA). The Winsor School is an independent girls’ school for academically promising and motivated students in grades five through twelve, located in Boston’s Longwood Medical and Academic Research area. We are seeking a full-time Lower School Mathematics teacher for a spring semester sabbatical replacement.
Responsibilities- Teach four sections at the middle school level, including two sections of Algebra 2 and two sections of Pre Algebra.
- Lower School teaching experience and strong subject expertise in mathematics.
- A master’s degree in relevant coursework is preferred.
- Commitment to community and inclusion work, understanding the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches, including differentiation.
- Ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process.
Benefits included as of start date: medical, dental, vision and 403(b) retirement plan. Salaries are based on a step scale: $72,572–$142,919.
