ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, CAREER ADVISING

Full‑time/regular – Grade 47 (Salary range $62,525 – $72,000)
Position OverviewProvide career advising and career education programs for graduate students, with a primary focus on advising undergraduate students. Serve as team lead for marketing & communications, working in a six‑person faculty‑led career office.
Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 career advising for students across College of Engineering programs, especially undergraduates.
- Create, deliver and continuously improve career education programs and curricula.
- Develop, distribute and continuously improve career education content, including how‑to guides and online video instruction.
- Outreach to student groups to deliver partnered career programs, especially events related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. 3–5 years of related experience in career advising, career education, or related student services. Strong communication, organization, and creativity. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
