The Athletics and Wellness Department is looking for an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the fall 2025 season. The Assistant Volleyball Coach will perform the following duties:

• Recruit and retain eligible student‑athletes.
• Assist Head Coach to meet designated roster goals established by the Director of Athletics and the NJCAA.
• Apply good practice pertaining to sport techniques, rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, organizational ability and teaching/coaching skills.
• Work effectively as a team and build team relationships.
• Collaborate with a diverse faculty, staff and student population.
• Communicate high academic standards within the athletic program.
• Promote academic success through a commitment to class attendance, academic persistence, retention, and graduation.
• Manage student‑athlete conduct while traveling and at home events.
• Attend BHCC athletic and other on‑campus recruiting events.

• Minimum 3‑years of coaching experience required in high school, club or college.
• Previous experience working with soccer athletes preferred.
• Previous playing experience preferred at the collegiate or pro level.
• Must maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Must possess a driver's license to provide van transportation to games for student‑athletes.

Salary: $2,000–$2,500 (depending on experience). Payment will be made as 4–8 installments. Review date:
Open until filled. Season practice / start date:
August 2025.
