Grade 3-5 General Studies Teacher (Part or Full Time )

Schechter Boston seeks a skilled and thoughtful General Studies teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The grade level for this position has yet to be determined and does not include teaching across grade levels. Our teachers work in highly collaborative teams and have meaningful ownership over curriculum and instructional design.

• Design and deliver intellectually engaging lessons that develop strong foundational skills and spark curiosity.
• Differentiate instruction and assessment to meet the needs of a wide range of learners.
• Cultivate a classroom culture where all students feel known, challenged, and supported.
• Use ongoing cycles of reflection, observation, and student work analysis to refine practice.
• Contribute to a collaborative teaching team that believes in continuous improvement.

• Strong classroom teacher with at least two years of experience in grades 3–5 (or comparable).
• Skilled at building relationships with students, parents and colleagues and establishing productive classroom routines.
• Committed to inclusive and rigorous instruction and to meeting students where they are.
• Experience teaching diverse learners.
• Eager to collaborate, give and receive feedback, and share responsibility for curriculum and student learning outcomes.
