About Bunker Hill Community College:

Job Description:BHCC is seeking mathematics faculty for the 2026 Spring Semester. The department provides mathematics instruction that meets the needs of learners with diverse backgrounds and varied educational goals. The department curriculum includes three components:
- Developmental math courses for underprepared students.
- Mathematics service courses for students in other disciplines which satisfy the general education criteria of degree and certificate programs.
- Mathematics foundation courses for students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (STEM).
Faculty are needed in all areas to create an environment which fosters learner success, promotes academic excellence and prepares quantitatively and scientifically literate citizens.

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4‑5:15 pm, IN PERSON at the Charlestown campus.

093-09C Foundations of Mathematics / MAT
097-09C Foundations of Algebra
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2:30‑3:45 pm, meets IN PERSON at the Charlestown campus.
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in one of the following fields:
Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering. - Applicants with a Master’s degree in Education who have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credits in mathematics will also be considered. Applicants must submit their official transcript of record with their application.
- Community college teaching experience preferred.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching non‑traditional and/or under‑prepared students.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting an inclusive environment on campus.
- Evidence of respect for and understanding of people with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and needs.
- Evidence of proficiency with technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $1,397 per credit hour. Effective date:
Spring 2026 semester.
