Position Title: Elementary School Physical Education Teacher (IMMEDIATE OPENING)

Match Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston, serving up to 1,250 students. Its mission is to prepare students—particularly multilingual learners and those who would be the first in their families to earn a college degree—for success in college and careers, and to achieve economic security and mobility. Students are admitted via an annual blind public lottery open to all Boston residents.

Start Date: ASAP
Salary Range: $61,812‑$98,899, based on prior full‑time teaching experience. Benefits include 90% coverage of employee health insurance and up to $150/month loan repayment assistance.

Overview of Role and Responsibilities- Teach grade‑appropriate Physical Education classes.
- Develop daily lessons aligned with Match’s Physical Education curriculum in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations and provide extensive support to students.
- Participate actively in Match’s coaching and professional development programming.
- Assist with school programming during non‑instructional time as needed.
- Serve as a positive, collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least two years of full‑time teaching experience, preferably in an urban education setting.
- Teacher certification per Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Belief that all students can and will succeed.
- Commitment to continual practice improvement through feedback and self‑reflection.
