Role OverviewEarly Literacy Tutor (K‑3), Part‑Time, Boston, MA. This position will begin Feb. 2026. As a tutor you will advocate, mentor, and guide students, providing instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing.
Responsibilities- Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
- Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
- Communicate with parents, providing information on student progress.
- Deliver instructional methods in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills using Company‑designed materials.
- Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
- Ensure supervision of students, including escorting them safely to and from sessions.
- Maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Attend and document meetings/training with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents as required.
- Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Compensation: $35 per hour.

- Four‑year degree and some work experience with children.
- FBI/BCI background check required.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
USD $35.00–$36.00 per hour.
Physical RequirementsLight lifting, walking, and climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
