Program DetailsThe College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8 – Friday, August 14, 2026
. In addition to on‑job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development sessions. College students will work 35 hours per week and earn $17.50–$21.50 per hour.
This role is hybrid: 3–4 days per week on site at 300 Longwood Ave, Boston. Specific work hours will be determined by the supervisor.
What You’ll Do- Administrative tasks and involvement in projects spanning QI, operations, and education with direct supervision.
- Attend a 2‑day program orientation and onboarding.
- Participate in virtual and in‑person workshops and activities.
- Enhanced skills in Microsoft Office, presentations, data collection and reporting.
- Time‑management skills.
- Job‑ready skills for the healthcare industry.
- Increased knowledge of healthcare career pathways.
- Professional development opportunities.
- Opportunity to present learnings at the program’s conclusion.
- Support from a peer cohort and a cohort mentor.
- MBTA Link pass for June‑August 2026.
- Undergraduate college student in good academic standing, enrolled in a 2‑ or 4‑year program for Fall 2026, interested in healthcare.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated teamwork, dedication and organization.
- Review and apply to no more than three COACH internship postings.
- Resume review and interviews will be scheduled as appropriate; resumes are required.
- Offers will be communicated within one week of interview; acceptance decisions made in March.
- Selected interns will complete onboarding by May, including work‑permit documentation, health records, proof of employment eligibility, and media release.
The posted pay range reflects Boston Children’s reasonable and good‑faith expectation for this position.
