Adjunct Faculty: (Arabic-Global Languages Department

With more than 50 years of academic excellence, Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is one of Massachusetts' largest community colleges, serving approximately 16,000 students annually. The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty to teach for the Global Languages Department.

• Teach in-person Arabic courses.
• Teaching various levels and sections of ARB-101 (Elementary Arabic I), ARB-102 (Elementary Arabic II).
• Courses are offered fully in-person on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses).

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Arabic or related field.
• Experience teaching various levels and sections of ARB-101 (Elementary Arabic I), ARB-102 (Elementary Arabic II).
• Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies.
• Experience with high-impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
• Community college teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.

Salary: $1,397.00 Per Credit Hour
