CLINICAL LEAD PHYSICIAN, Student Health Services
Job Location: BOSTON, MA
The Clinical Lead Physician provides comprehensive primary care to Boston University students within Student Health Services under the supervision of the Medical Director. The clinical lead would assist advanced practice providers, lead educational initiatives, and organize clinical workflows. A fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine and CAQSM (or eligibility) is highly preferred, with potential appointment as a sports team physician that would include athletic event coverage and Athletic Training Room clinic.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to BU students within Student Health Services.
- Assist advanced practice providers, lead educational initiatives, and organize clinical workflows.
- Support other clinical activities as assigned by the Medical Director.
- Doctoral Degree
- Primary care residency
- Board certified in a primary care specialty
- Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts by start date
- Unrestricted Massachusetts Controlled Substance Certificate and DEA license by start date
- 5 - 8 years of work experience
Compensation
Salary Grade:
Grade 53
Expected Hiring Range: $ – $
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
