Medical Oncologist, GI/GU Oncology (Academic Faculty)

Boston Medical Center (BMC) and the Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) are seeking a Medical Oncologist with a clinical and academic focus in Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology
, with subspecialty interest in GI and/or GU malignancies
, to join a rapidly expanding, multidisciplinary oncology program. This role offers a combined clinical and academic appointment with strong opportunities in clinical trials, research collaboration, and teaching.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with GI malignancies (and the opportunity to incorporate GU oncology depending on experience and interest)
• Partner within a multidisciplinary program across surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and supportive care
• Participate in and potentially lead clinical trials
  , including investigator-initiated studies
• Collaborate with internal and external investigators on basic, translational, and clinical research
• Develop scholarship with a strong opportunity in health disparities research and equitable cancer care delivery
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in ambulatory and inpatient settings

• MD or MD/PhD
• Board-certified in Medical Oncology
• Massachusetts medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Massachusetts
• Commitment to clinical excellence, academic engagement, and collaborative care

Academic rank and faculty appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience at Boston University School of Medicine.
