Responsibilities
  • Provide planning, design, and coordination support on projects
  • Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings
  • Prepare drawings and specification documents
  • Research, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials
  • Understand healthcare trends
  • Assist the lead Health Planner in preparing presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives
  • Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Architecture
  • Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)
  • Architectural registration
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health planner
  • Advanced credentials desired (e.g., ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Preference given to local candidates
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the A/E industry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans, prints, drawings, and models
  • Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and flexible
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction of buildings
  • Commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
