We are looking for a Clinical Manager for the School of Dental Medicine to manage the clinical care staffing and support functions at the Dental Health Center. The role ensures that patients receive uninterrupted and high‑quality care, overseeing staff assignments, equipment maintenance, budget compliance, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all functions and assignments of the clinical support staff.
  • Assign support staff daily/weekly to assist providers in the delivery of care, imaging, sterilization, and all other patient‑care related activities.
  • Ensure coverage consistency and adherence to schedules.
  • Adjust schedules as needed to maintain adequate coverage for all clinical functions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to cover the clinic during peak periods and train new clinical support staff, ensuring compliance with DPH guidelines.
  • Distribute radiology badges, maintain records, and enforce all OSHA and DHC policies, including PPE requirements.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines by controlling inventory and managing contracted services.
  • Act as a liaison to vendors regarding equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor quality control of impressions/models sent to commercial labs, liaising with laboratories and providers to ensure timely delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Resolve conflicts among dental assistants promptly and prevent escalation.
  • Ensure equipment is in optimal condition, maintaining maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Maintain instruments in working order and sterilized per OSHA and DPH guidelines.
  • Ensure all digital equipment functions correctly and coordinate with IT for any technical issues.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience. Required MA Dental Assistant License.
