The Pediatric Dental Assistant, working with the Clinic Director, is an integral member of the 7th Floor Clinical team providing support to residents and faculty for quality dental care. The assistant will have strong interpersonal skills, promote teamwork, and ensure each patient’s experience is positive from initial appointment through treatment completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking radiographs and supervising residents during clinical rotations.
• Assisting residents with dental procedures, demonstrating clinical skills in four-handed dentistry.
• Preparing operatories, ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and adherence to infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
• Ordering supplies.
• Seating and preparing patients for treatment.
• Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients.
• Managing practice operations by contacting patients and reviewing schedules for efficiency.

High school diploma, Vocational/Technical Degree, and 1-3 years of experience.
