RoleThe Dartmouth Group is hiring a full-time Concierge to serve an upscale, high-end condominium community located in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, steps away from the Boston Common and Public Green. This is a visible, first-point-of-contact to welcome and assist all who enter the building. A high degree of professionalism and communication skills are required for success in this role.
The Concierge will demonstrate an outgoing, friendly, and welcoming attitude, and will take the initiative and operate proactively when responding to needs, requests, and inquiries. The Concierge will maintain the cleanliness and safety for all by ensuring community rules and regulations are followed.
Thursday - Monday, 3pm-11pm. Working on Saturdays and Sundays are a requirement for this role.
Duties- Proactively welcome homeowners, guests, and visitors as they enter the building.
- Anticipate and respond to inquiries and requests.
- Walk and inspect lobby area to ensure cleanliness.
- Ensure HOA rules and regulations are followed.
- Perform various administrative and managerial tasks in support of the community's mission.
- Create a positive experience for all by attending to needs and answering questions.
- Monitor security and safety of homeowners, residents, and guests.
- Receive, log, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Enter and update work orders in the system.
- Enter and update homeowner, resident, and community information in the system.
- Maintain and track occupancy counts, and inventory of move-ins and move-outs.
- Attend weekly meetings and provide status updates.
- Document and maintain shift logs.
- Submit reports.
- Other duties as requested.
Pay rate: $25-$29 an hour.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of concierge experience in a high-end clientele environment.
- Professional demeanor and presentation.
- Customer service driven and team oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Attention to detail, proactive, and takes the initiative to service homeowners, guests, and visitors.
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively respond to requests and inquiries, in person or by phone, and email.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player.
- Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
