NEWS in Boston is looking for a motivated assignment editor who thrives in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. Candidate must be detail focused and able to multi-task. We're looking for someone who is driven to find the most important and compelling stories of the day and deploy 7
NEWS crews and resources for optimum coverage. Candidate should excel at handling last-minute changes, communicate effectively and display a fierce commitment to quality journalism.
This job is part-time and includes weekend mornings. Work is 100% on-site at the station's downtown Boston office. A minimum of two years of assignment desk experience preferred. Knowledge of Boston and New England a plus. WHDH-TV is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The expected salary range for this position is $16.00 to $18.00 hourly. The final offer will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, knowledge and skills.
